Worship and Prayer

Each Sunday is a very special day in the life of our church when the church family meets together to praise God, to learn more about the Bible and to offer prayers for others and ourselves. We look forward to meeting each other week by week and to growing in our faith and understanding as well as to sharing the joy of Christian worship. Our services are led by our Minister the Rev. Robert Soanes or by visiting lay preachers or ministers. We celebrate Holy Communion one Sunday morning each month, a service which is open to anyone who wishes to share in this wonderful occasion as part of their spiritual journey. Evening services vary in nature,  traditional, Taize style, Iona worship or Songs of Praise. Whatever the format you will find that all our services are friendly and welcoming.

We meet each Sunday at 10.30am and (most Sundays) at 6.30pm.  No evening services in January & February.

Prayers on Friday are held each week at 10.00am.        These last for about twenty minutes and are held in the Oasis Room (near the church entrance in London Road South.) They are led by our Minister or one of our members and are quite informal. On the third Friday in each month there is a healing service in church, with Holy Communion.  Prayer times are open to all.

Singing Group.   We meet most Fridays at 11.30am to enjoy singing together as we explore new hymns and songs for worship. We often take part in Sunday worship and are pleased to see new singers.
